Great weekend again with all our teams playing away except for our Under 18 Girls.

Under 7 Kangaroos:- Our boys had a close game this week.  Goals were scored by Samuel Madrajat and Jayden Borg. Player of the Week went to Jake Nauer for a great improvement.

Under 16 Girls:- Well done girls on the weekend, all I can say is thank you. A great result and again passing, teamwork, and your love of playing was what got the win. Rebecca Cini this weeks MVP marked up on their striker and stopped every pass, but then to have the clear mind not just to boot it away she calmly laid off passes to the awaiting mids who did exactly what was required. We hit the keeper so many times as she got herself positioned very well but the onslaught of attempts was far too much.  Leeana’s first goal was a gem and Kristy fought and got the next 2. Sherrie then popped in another 2 but the last goals was something special for any coach to see, Emily running down the right, heard the call from the coach to “switch” she looked up only to see both Courtney and Sherrie unmarked she passed so accurately across to Courtney who then split the 2 central defenders straight on and shot along the ground away from the keeper to put in # 6 just on full time.Thank you girls, it was a game that bought a tear to my eye, written by a very proud Coach.

Under 7 Kangaroos -v- Pitt Town Dingos - 11.10 am at home;

Under 8 Cougars -v- Colo Bears - 9.00 am at home;

Under 10/2 -v- St.Clair - 10.00 am at home;

On Sunday (18.5.08):-

Under 15-16 Girls -v- Wentworth Falls - 10.00 am at Home;

Under 18 Girls -v- Richmond - 9.00 am at Icely Park.

Our Under 8 Cougars will be playing a Demonstration match at CUA Stadium on Saturday the 17th May, 2008.  They will be the half time entertainment to Penrith Nepean United. What a great opportunity for the team.  Have fun guys and enjoy.
