Under 12 Division 1
Continue to do us Proud..
Glossodia Under 12 Division 1 boys continue to excel in the Champion of Champions sudden death tournament moving into the Semi Finals on the 18th of October 2009.
In this years competition the boys played their first game in Bathurst on the 13th of September soundly defeating the Bathurst team 8 - 0.
The second game saw the team up against Manly on the 20th of September at Berger Road, Bligh Park. In a tightly contested game the team defeated Manly 1 - 0
The third game saw the team playing in the quarter finals against Bangor Brumbies at Kareela. In very difficult conditions the score was 0 - 0 at half time. Early in the second half the boys were down 1 - 0 before hitting their stride and defeating Bangor 3 - 1.
On the 18th of October the team goes up against Maroubra United at Crest Complex Bass Hill in a do or die effort to win a place in the finals.
The team has already surpassed their efforts in 2008 where they made it to the quarter finals. Come along in on the 18th of October and support the boys in their attempt to make it to the finals and ultimately becoming STATE Champions

Glossodia Under 12 Division 1
Finals Winners 2009.
Congratulations to Coach Wayne Vella, Manager Sue Peisley and the under 12 Division 1 boys who won the Grand Final played at Jamison Park on Saturday the 29th of August 2009.
The boys defeated Colo 3 – 0 in an exciting game in front of a huge crowd of Glossodia supporters.
Goal Scorers were: Luke Peisley, Brandon Vella and AJ.
The team finished the Season as Minor Premiers and now qualify for the Champion of Champions competition.
They also played in the State Cup during the normal season making the final on the 5th of July 2009. Unfortunately they were defeated 2 – 0.
Good luck to Wayne, Sue and the team in the Champion of Champions.

Glossodia Under 11 Division 3.
Finals Winners 2009
Congratulations to the under 11 Division 3 boys, Coach Craig Lalor and Manager Kath Bates on winning the Finals against Warradale on Saturday the 28th of August 2009.
The boys defeated Warradale in thrilling game. Leading three nil at half time the team held Warradale at bay scoring one more goal to lead four nil. A late surge by Warradale saw the boys concede one goal shortly before full time.
Full time score Glossodia four, Warradale 1.
Goal Scorers: Michael Bates 2, Patrick and Chris one each.

Glossodia Under 12 Division 1 State Cup Finalists.
Congratulations to Coach Wayne Vella, Manager Sue Piesley and the under 12 Division 1 boys who have been playing in the State Cup as well as their regular Nepean competition games. They were defeated 2-0 in The State Cup Finals on Sunday the 5th of July 2009.
